Lansing Pride History
Formed in 2021, Lansing Pride was established to dedicate resources and support specifically for the annual pride festival that had been hosted in the city since 1989. The founding board members were Ben Down, Brad Johnson, Marcella Wolfe
The organization hosted it’s first festival in 2022. Since then it has grown to to an attendance of over 30,000.
Lansing Pride Logo
The logo was designed by one of our founding members, Asio Aviance (Corey Northen), to honor the significance of Michigan’s capital city as the home of the festival. Through its evolution the logo has continued to center that significance.
